Cast Iron Intake Manifolds designed for Chevrolet Vortec & Vortec Bow-Tie Cylinder Heads

At last, a performance cast iron intake that bolts directly to the Chevrolet Vortec & Vortec Bow-Tie cylinder heads

These aftermarket performance cast iron intakes are designed for the Chevrolet Vortec & Vortec Bow-Tie cylinder heads. They are not produced by Chevrolet and do not have Chevrolet casting numbers. However, casting numbers can be installed (see #409-V below). In stock form, they perform very similarly to our Fully Modified low-rise cast iron intakes, #201 and #401.

NOTE: The 4 barrel Vortec Intake (Part #401V-M) has a hole for a mulit-port injector on each of the intake ports. The hole is the correct drill size for a 1/4" pipe tap. Simply tap these holes with a 1/4" tap and install 1/4" pipe plugs.
