“UnderCover Ported” EQ head will be 20 horsepower better than a stock EQ head.

The stock EQ-350I cylinder head is a good basic cylinder head from a mechanical stand point.  From a performance standpoint, on a typical circle track car, there is a ton of room for improvement.

If you want to run in the middle of the pack, bolt on a set of these heads without improving the air flow. If you want to run upfront, “Undercover Porting” is the way to go.

Stock EQ-350I heads flow 215 cfm intake and 154 cfm exhaust. With our “Undercover Porting” the flow numbers increase to 237 intake and 175 exhaust.  This air flow improvement will typically add close to 20 horsepower to your 355 small block running a 500 Holley 2 barrel carb.

We pickup 10 cfm @ .200″ lift & close to 20 cfm @ .500″ with our “UnderCover Porting”. This translates into a solid 15 to 20 horsepower gain on a 355 small block running a Holley 500 2 barrel.

Measurable exhaust air flow improvements start at .200″ lift and continue to a 14 cfm gain at .500″ lift with our “UnderCover Porting”. Going to a 1.60″ valve improves the exhaust air flow even more.
